Following a long winter out of the show ring, Jose Daniel Martin Dockx and Grandioso came back strong at their first outdoor show of 2014 in Treffen, Austria at the Glock-sponsored CDI4*.
The amazingly luxurious Glock Show was a high point of the season last year, with Daniel and Grandioso winning both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Kur in the 3*. This year they opted for the 4* competition, and were again successful against higher-ranked riders and horses.
In the Grand Prix, the pair finished 3rd with a score of 71.9%, behind Edward Gal on Glock’s Undercover and Hans Peter Minderhoud on Glock’s Johnson. They went on to the Kur to place fourth with a score of 77.475%.
They now go on to Barcelona for the Spanish National Championships, June 6-8, where the road to Normandy officially begins.
