From Michigan to the world stage: Mejorano HGF. Son of two-time Olympian Grandioso III, he has followed the footsteps of his father. José Daniel Martin Dockx was in charge of developing his training. In the young horse classes, they finished in the top 5 highlighting the bronze medal in six-year-old (SICAB) and the silver medal in the 7-year-old category.
In 2018, the American bred Mejorano HGF represented Spain in the World Championships of Young Horses in Ermelo (as a seven-yearold). A year later, he made the smooth transition to Intemediate A/B with scores above 72%. At the end of 2019 he broke the ice in Grand Prix. In 2020, Kerrigan took the reins and started her partnership with Mejorano HGF.
The winter of 2021 Kerrigan made a big step on her career and tested the waters with Mejorano HGF in the Grand Prix (their own debut). Since then, they’ve scored twice above 70% and 72% in GPS.
