The Robert Dover Horsemanship Clinic for the Emerging Dressage Athletes is now behind us, a great success. 12 selected riders and 10 auditors enjoyed a week of lessons, tutorials, lectures and demonstrations by a top field of dressage VIPs including Olympians, team trainers, veterinarians, the press and others. The awards party and fundraiser on Saturday night was held at HGF, with over 200 Wellington dressage supporters dropping by to help build the program for 2013. See is following this program throughout the winter, and is giving special coverage to the various Youth initiatives in Wellington this year, culminating in the Florida Youth Championship at Global Dressage in March.
