Dressage Horses
HGF Horses in training and competing in Dressage
Our approach to dressage is rooted in classical principles and guided by a deep respect for the horse's physical and mental development. Every horse that enters our programme is assessed individually — its conformation, temperament, and natural gaits forming the foundation upon which all subsequent work is built. Training progresses systematically, never sacrificing correctness for speed, and always prioritising the horse's longitudinal suppleness, rhythmic balance, and willingness to work.
We believe that a truly well-trained horse is not only capable of performing at the highest level — it moves with ease, carries itself without tension, and remains a willing partner throughout its career.
